Kenea Yadeta is the Head of Addis Ababa City Peace and Security Administration Bureau since September 2021. Kenea has LLB and LLM from Addis Ababa University.

Prior to his current position, he was the Minister of Defense from August 2020-September 2021. He had also served as the Deputy Manager of the Ethiopian Metals & Engineering Corporation from 2018 – 2020. Kenea had also been the Head of Oromia Regional State Security and Administration Bureau, the Deputy Commissioner General of the Ethiopian Federal Police and the security chief of Oromia Regional State.
