Naol Getachew is an Editor and Fact-Checker at MFC, committed to combating disinformation and fostering a healthier digital space. He has five years of experience in fact-checking, journalism, and media literacy training.
He has trained hundreds of Ethiopian journalists, media practitioners, and communication experts in disinformation countermeasures, public relations, and media literacy.
Beyond his role at MFC, Naol is the Fellowship Lead & Training Coordinator for the Africa Fact-Checking Fellowship – Ethiopia Project. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and Professional Skills from Addis Ababa University.
