Tesfaye Ayalew is the Head of Deployment Department of the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF).

Tesfaye was promoted from the rank of Brig. General to a Maj. General in January 2022, and from Colonel to the rank of Brig. General in January 2020. Prior to his current position, he was the Head of the Office of Deputy Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Defense.
