Mesele Meseret is the Commander of the Western Command of Ethiopia’s National Defense Force (ENDF). He was promoted to the rank of Lei. Gen. in January 2022. 

Mesele was promoted from Brig. General to Maj. General in February 2018 by the former President of Ethiopia, Mulatu Teshome and from Colonel to Brigadier General in October 2013.
