Chaltu Sani is the Minister of Urban and Infrastructure since October 2021.

She holds an MA in Education Leadership and Management from Addis Ababa University.

Prior to her current position, Chaltu was Deputy President of Oromia Regional State. She has also served as Deputy President and Bureau Head of Oromia Urban Development and Housing. She has been working as Oromia National Regional State Revenues Authority Head. She was also the Mayor of Laga Tafo Laga Dadi town.
