Rehobot is an Editor and Fact-Checker at MFC. She is an Ethiopian media professional
with a strong focus on fighting misinformation and promoting media literacy. She is an
independent consultant and fact-checker with experience working for local and
international organizations. Currently, she leads her own media consultancy firm called
Niqu Ethiopia, which works to enhance media literacy in Ethiopia and beyond. In addition
to her fact-checking work, Rehobot is also a show host and public speaker. She has
experience moderating discussions and hosting events – for example, hosted a youth
dialogue show.
Rehobot is studying her Masters Degree in Development Communication and Media at
Ethiopian Civil Service University. She has a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Ambo
University.
