Naol is an Editor and Fact-Checker at MFC, dedicated to empowering individuals to
counter disinformation and create a healthier digital space. He brings five years of
experience in fact-checking, journalism, and media literacy training to his work.
Naol has trained hundreds of Ethiopian journalists, media practitioners, and
communication experts on countering disinformation, public relations, and media
literacy.
Beyond his role at MFC, Naol serves as the Fellowship Lead & Training Coordinator
for the Africa Fact-Checking Fellowship – Ethiopia Project.
Naol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature and Professional Skills from
Addis Ababa University.
